Blacklite Records is pleased to offer forth Pyrotechnia, a scorching new 3 track EP from Mexican powerhouse Hasmodai. Drawing inspiration from the parallels between music and fireworks, upon the features limitations of both mediums, Hasmodai taps into that ephemeral moment of magic they both capture. Music and fireworks are both capable of creating deep emotional reactions, however short lived they may be. Much like the aerial explosions of color leave an imprint upon the eye, Pyrotechnia seeks to leave a lingering sonic trail within the ear. Each track of the release leaves its own lasting imprint much as its architect wished. In Chrysanthemum , a fun and driving bassline is accompanied by meticulous psychedelic soundscapes and percussion. Bengala wrote in partnership with Blacklite label mate Endeavour is like a powerful mortar round to the ear. Deep , reverberating and powerful. Crossette with In Lak Ech features hints of melody and a frenetic energy sure to drive a dance floor to its peak, not unlike the crescendo and finale of a well choreographed fireworks display.
