Tamir Corcia aka Convert-X was born in a collective settlement near Jerusalem, right at the heart and geographical center of Israel. His musical path began at the age of 10 when he took on the drum kit and joined a local band only to discover his passion for the kick drum. Later on, while studying Sound Engineering upstate in Kinneret College, he started producing his own music. His first EP, containing 4 tracks, started as the final project in college and later on was released in the Israeli label Mainstage Records. His own style and the combination of live instrument recordings make up for a color that stands out in a fashion that is full of groove and non-stop drive, ranging from, but not limited to, 148 to 152 BPM.
